Wilson Ice Member-Only Club Statement Regarding AWS Service Disruption

NYC Campus – October 20, 2025 – The Wilson Ice Member Only Club is issuing this statement to inform our valued members and partners that we are currently experiencing a service disruption due to an outage affecting Amazon Web Services (AWS), our primary cloud infrastructure provider.

This unexpected outage began at approximately 11:15 PM CT On The 19th and is currently impacting several of our member-facing services, including:

  • Online Reservation and Booking System

  • Member Portal Login

  • Mobile Application Functionality

  • Staff Apps

  • POS & KDS

  • Web Phone Systems

We understand the frustration and inconvenience this causes, especially for members attempting to book ice time or access account information. We sincerely apologize for this disruption.

Our team is actively monitoring the situation and working closely with AWS support to restore services as quickly and safely as possible. Please be assured that this is a widespread AWS issue affecting many organizations globally, and it is not an internal failure of the Wilson Ice Member Only Club’s systems.

What Members Should Know:

  • On-Site Operations: Our physical club facilities and staff remain fully operational. Members can still access the building and utilize our services in person.

  • Updates: Updates can be found at the top of www.wilsonice.com in the RED box

  • Keypads & CCTV Access: At the time, all keypads that give access to any WIUSA Property are down. All exterior keypads are locked, but interior ones are unlocked unless it is a secure area. CCTV can only be accessed from the property and not at any corporate offices. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation. The security and seamless experience of our members are our highest priorities, and we are committed to keeping you informed until all systems are fully restored.
